About the Global Inclusion Program and PATRIR
Global Inclusion is a program line at the Romanian Peace Institute – PATRIR. We focus on direct engagement with migrant and refugee communities, working to support their voices to be heard in governance and policies that affect them in Cluj and more widely across Europe. Global Inclusion aims to develop strategies for integration, representative bodies/migrant-led groups, and platforms where migrant and refugee communities can identify their needs, and actively engage with government, civil society, and other stakeholders to strengthen inclusion, opportunities, and well-being. Our mission is to mobilize and engage citizens, governments, national and international organizations to work actively individually and together to overcome all forms of direct, structural, cultural violence, discrimination, and exclusion and to build inclusive societies and practices.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Developing and building strong, positive, and respect-based relations with locally based Ukrainian community as key stakeholders and partners in our programming.
- Community-based and participatory research with the locally based Ukrainian community and Ukrainian youth (aged 5-18) to understand needs, and aspirations and support evidence-based programming and policy.
- Engagement of stakeholders to develop local strategies, measures, and concrete initiatives to support the Ukrainian community at the local and national level.
- Design and implementation with partners of initiatives to support Ukrainian youth education and development of sustainable integration measures for the Ukrainian community in Cluj/Romania.
- Be proactive in developing and supporting relations with key actors in the ecosystem relevant to Ukrainians’ integration and support, including with local authorities, civil society partners, educational institutions, national ministries, media partners and more.
- Proactively support reaching out to and engaging the Ukrainian community in Cluj in events and in building strong cooperative relations and partnerships.
- Organize events, focus groups, round table discussions to benefit and support partners and stakeholder Ukrainian community.
- Organize and deliver trainings and workshops to Ukrainian community audiences.
- Assist with developing toolkits, handbooks, and practical materials that will support migrant and refugee integration at the local and national levels.
- Contribute to the development, improvement and upgrade of the local strategies on integration.
- Prepare a range of project-related documents for key stakeholders as required, including status updates, reports, budgets and discussion papers to manage information flow.
- Work with local schools and ISJ to help all beneficiaries with the integration process.
- Mediating work between school, parents and children.

You should have:
- A university degree (preferably graduate or post-graduate) or equivalent experience in migration and refugee support and inclusion, international cooperation, cultural mediation or related fields;
- 2-3+ years experience in the field;
- MS Office knowledge;
- Project management and coordination knowledge;
- Fluency in Ukrainian, professional working English, conversational level of Romanian is preferable.
- High commitment, analytical thinking, problem-solving, reliability, strong team-orientation, flexibility and very good self-organization skills.
Ability to work in the EU is a must.
You must already be able to work in the EU / Romania for this position. We are not able to recruit candidates who do not fulfill this requirement.

|The starting salary for this position is 4500 lei (take home after tax) with opportunities for performance-based increases.

|Overview of the Application & Hiring Process:
