This training will offer an opportunity for local peacebuilders and active youth to learn more about the peacebuilding field through a combination of theory and practice.

The field of peacebuilding is as wide and diverse as the field of medicine. This training will be a concise yet comprehensive introduction on the key concepts and an overview of the field, that will offer a presentation and open space with five peacebuilding and international development practitioners with thematic and geographically diverse experiences will introduce their work and best practices gained from their background. Participants will be able to interact with each other and with practitioners, who will facilitate a space for peer learning and collaboration.

This training will be the first of a series, consisting of an initial opportunity for young leaders to gain valuable insights and practical skills in promoting peace within their communities. Other training opportunities will be designed after an assessment following this training.
