Between October 14-16, PATRIR joined the second international training of the NewGen project held in Warsaw, Poland. This program brought together participants from Romania, Finland, and Poland to engage in skill-building sessions aimed at addressing key issues in peacebuilding and conflict transformation.
Training Highlights:
- Participants took part in dynamic sessions focused on mediation, conflict transformation, and understanding radicalization, equipping them with practical skills to apply in their peacebuilding efforts.
- The training included a visit to the POLIN Museum, enriching attendees’ historical and cultural perspectives on peace and conflict.
The NewGen project, titled “A New Generation Wakes Up to War: Reducing Militarization, Tensions, and Prejudices,” is a collaborative European initiative aimed at fostering peace and reducing societal tensions. This project is implemented by PATRIR alongside Rauhankasvatusinstituutti ry (Finland), CSSP (Germany), and Instytut Bezpieczeństwa Społecznego (Poland), with support from the Erasmus+ Program.
