The International Peace and Development Training Centre (IPDTC) is recognised as one of the world’s leading training and professional development centres.
International recognition and engagement with UN missions & agencies
Established to provide core, advanced and executive leadership training for UN missions and staff, government leadership and officials, and national and international organisations and agencies working in the fields of peacebuilding, prevention, and post-war recovery and peace consolidation, IPDTC has provided trainings for more than 4000 practitioners, policy makers and professionals from over 70 countries around the world. More than 90% of IPDTC trainings are provide in the field-world-wide upon request from UN missions and agencies, national governments, and national and international organisations and agencies. Each of these programmes is tailor-made and customised for the exact needs, objectives and context of the requesting mission or agency – designed drawing upon a decade and a half of global experience to maximize practical impact and support missions in best achieving their mandate and objectives.

Please note: IPDTC has received many requests from additional UN missions and agencies but has not always been able to service these requests because of high global demand for our programmes and trainers.
International recognition
IPDCT programmes are internationally recognised as amongst the best in the field globally. This is why we consistently receive high-level requests for trainings from governments, international organisations, and missions and agencies. This year PATRIR was awarded the 2017 Luxembourg Peace Prize, in large part in recognition for the significant contribution of IPDTC trainings to mediation and peace processes around the world.
