
J-S.A.F.E. project supports judges and prosecutors to pronounce informed decision sentencings on cases of radicalization at all stages of the procedures through the use of the most appropriate risk assessment tools, also with the support of ‘Legal Expert of the Court for Radicalization Assessments’ and also support prison and probation staff in the execution of sentences through a coherent set of programmes and an integrated flow of information, parallel to ECRIS, among multilevel and multiagency stakeholders.
J-S.A.F.E. project’s consortium is composed of eight institutions from seven different countries which will work jointly on this project, led by the Italian Ministry of Justice, Department of Penitentiary Administration, Office for Veneto, Trentino-Alto Adige and Friuli Venezia Giulia, based in Padua.
Other members that will work in this project are The Real Instituto Elcano based in Madrid (ES), the Czech Technical University in Prague (CZ), the College for Administration of Justice in Bavaria – Police Department (BAY-FHVR) in Munich (DE), the Center of the Study of Democracy in Sofia (BG), the KEMEA in Athens (GR), the Peace Action Training and Research Institute of Romania (PATRIR) in Cluj-Napoca (RO), and Agenfor International NGO, based in Milan (IT).
