During the annual campaign “16 days of activism against gender-based violence”, taking place in Cluj-Napoca and on occasion of the UN Resolution Youth, Peace and Security adoption day, the Romanian Institute for Peace – PATRIR has the pleasure to invite you to come and watch the documentary film “Pray the devil back to hell” at the Faculty of European Studies. The film documents the story of how the peace movement Women of Liberia Mass Action for Peace became a political force against violence and led to the first female head of state in Africa.
The movie screening will be followed by a brief discussion guided by Luisa Del Turco, “Women, Peace and Security” Advocate and Advisor, Trainer, Lecturer and Expert in Non-violent Transformation of Conflicts, Peacebuilding and Peace Policies.
