We continue to #StandWithUkraine, supporting the people affected by the war within the country and in neighboring countries, while collaborating with partners and allies to foster the country’s recovery. The needs of those affected by the war are numerous and diverse, and together with the Українська академія лідерства/Ukrainian Leadership Academy, Collegium Civitas International, and Un Ponte Per, we try to identify as many ways as we can to support.
Introducing several civil society initiatives that are making a substantial contribution to rebuilding a normal life in Ukraine and need our support.
TUTHub

“TUT” is an NGO from Mykolaiv. The members of the organization aim to revive the cultural life in the war-affected town by establishing a space called “TUTHub.” This space will allow the young people to pursue their passions.
“TUTHub” in Mykolaiv will be an inclusive space consisting of three cores: artistic, educational, and entertainment, as well as a co-working area, a café, and conference halls. The hub will be open and accessible for events, meetings, and co-working. Additionally, it will regularly host events organized by the NGO “TUT.”
Their needs include funding for renovations, furniture, and technical equipment for the space (laptops, projectors, screens, speakers, microphones, etc.).

Brave to Rebuild

While destruction persists in the front-line regions of Ukraine, in the de-occupied regions, communities are striving to rebuild their cities. Organizations and even individual people are making big contributions every day.
Among them are Alona Krytsuk and Vitaliy Selyk, who have decided to organize small volunteer trips to assist local residents in rebuilding their homes. Together with other volunteers, they founded the organization “Brave to Rebuild.” Their activity is steadily growing at this moment.
They are aiding in the reconstruction of Kyiv Oblast through dismantling, preservation, and minor repairs. Additionally, they are creating a catalog of damaged buildings to attract funding for reconstruction. Every weekend and on weekdays, they volunteer to help local residents. Recently, they launched a major project to rebuild 12 schools in Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Kharkiv Oblasts. Their plan is to develop the volunteer community and expand geographically and professionally by opening centers in every region where their assistance is needed.
We can also help them by donating funds that will be used for reconstruction or by donating building materials, work gloves, construction helmets, truck expenses, etc. You can spread this message or assist in fundraising efforts or even volunteer alongside other foreigners who are already there.

Brave Bicycles

Their journey started with a simple mission – to make a difference in the lives of those affected by conflict in Kharkiv Oblast. Witnessing the transportation challenges in the region, they were inspired to act and bring mobility back to the communities near the frontlines.
During a humanitarian aid trip, they realized the dire need for transportation options. With no roads, public transportation, or fuel, residents had lost their means of mobility. This sparked the idea of obtaining bicycles from Europe, repairing them, and delivering them to those who needed them most.
Today, Brave Bicycles are actively engaged in repairing bicycles during community workdays. But that’s not all! They announce plans for an upcoming opening of a social bike workshop in Podil.
Everything is with the aim to enhance the quality of life for residents in conflict-affected and near-frontline communities.
Now we can make a difference to helping in their plans to empowering local craftsmen and exploring ways to support them in opening social workshops in their regions.
Donations for administrative expenses, logistics, workshop setup, bicycle parts, repair tools, and vans for delivering bicycles throughout Ukraine would be immensely appreciated.
